What engine?
10 bolt differential cover is 8.8 (mostly 4.2L and 4.6L), 12 bolts is 9.75 (which was mostly in the 5.4L's)
The gear ratio is 3.55 non limited slip
It will also tell you on your rear axle tag code

25 — 4.10 non-limited slip — F-150
26 — 3.73 non-limited slip — F-150/Mark LT
27 — 3.31 non-limited slip — F-150
B5 — 4.10 limited slip — F-150
B6 — 3.73 limited slip — F-150/Mark LT
H9 — 3.55 limited slip — F-150
If you look at the rear end, the pumpkin is symmetrical its the 8.8 if its bigger on the left its the 9.75
