1999 seat swap

Hey guys how's everyone today..

I finally decided to register, after checking this site out a couple times...

I have a 1999 ford f150 super cab the one with the 2 full doors and the rear half doors. 2wd by the way.

My truck has the split bench seat in the back, where the back rest doesnt move. Its kind of difficult finding a good sub box with the split frame, so I was wondering is it possible to fit a 2001 full bench seat in the back. Does anyone have any experience with this. Any help is really appreciated....thanks again

it looks like the seat will collapse if i take that middle brace off. it holds the two seats together. i could prob weld something to make it stay together but thats too much fab work....

you remove the brace to put a box under it. duh. the box will support the weight.

it doesnt hold anything together just an extra support that isnt a must have and like eric said you use the box if the frame would flex any
