I found this in the pics from the link KS posted. Would something like this be what you are wanting? Seems like it would work best with the toolbox.

That's cool, that is what I do as well. What industry are you working in? I work for a steel fabricater that builds oil and water storage tanks for refineries.

Look at my second pic:
https://www.f150online.com/forums/19...ally-done.html

I bet your box would fit inbetween the hoops and the rear legs.
You could also extend the out part from the hoops to the legs before the angled part comes and make them a little longer to give you clearance to open the boc all the way up.

I see you saw my post....In all honesty, if you want to build one custom......I would look at doing this:

6--3"mendral bent exhaust tubing(90degree bends).
http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-DEGREE-MA...item517e1dc4fe

That will give you the hoops. 3 on each side.

I haven't measured how high my bar is but say 4 feet.
I'd get about 10-14 of these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Summit-Racin...item564803fe68

or of course try your local exaust shop, they might give you a better price for 10foot sections and you cut to fit them.

The back legs if you do 2 on each side You'll probably need 6-8 feet for each leg. I figured that in when I said 10-14 up top. Probably 8, 4 on each side. You'd then also need 4 of the say 45 degree bends to angle them down.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXHAUST-TUBI...item483fafe591

14- 4 foot long sections= about $280 (I bet a local exhaust shopt would beat that price for ya)

6- 90 degree bends = about $ 120

4- 45 degree bends = about $ 80

total = $480 = 20 for paint....so $500.

I took the price of the parts and added 4 dollars shipping for each item. I'm not sure if bying multiple items from one place if shipping is cheaper.

Thats building it to your specs and how you want it. True custom rollbar at that point.
I bet you can do it for cheaper. If you dont care about having mendral bends, you can have exhaust shop bend the hoops up for you and will probably save you $.

Just throwing the idea out there. If you build it yourself you can move the legs back as far as you want/can.

I didn't mention cut off wheels or a welder, figured that was obvious.

The nice thing about building your own is you can build it a little here and there. Just make sure you grind your welds down unless you have a nice bead or tigg.

Using the exhaust piping is not safety rated for actually rolling the truck....just for the look!

Keep us posted what you decide.....

I say build it if you have the gear to do it.

ps: I have a step side so measurements might not be for you, but if you decide you might build it then PM me and I can give you full measurement of how much piping there is on mine.

Actually yeah that doesnt look that bad. Would actually work pretty well. If I build something this def. gives me something to go off of. Thanks.

I started out working for an engineering firm, in the mech. dept. drawing/designing HVAC & plumbing/piping systems.

Now I work for a Major University, wont say any names lol As an Arch. draftsman. My job is to keep CAD floor plans for every building we own up-to-date physically, as well as what each room is used for and it's room number. We're in the process of implementing Revit/BIM so in a few years we'll also have all the buildings drawn in 3D. Currently I keep up with plans for over 13million sqft of space, and we have several new buildings being built as I type this
