i just ordered a custom sub box from subthump and i need to mount my amp, i was thinkin behind the back seat but i dont know how to fold it down... sorry if this is a dumb question.. i also got new seat covers so this would kill two birds with one stone if someone could help. thanks guys

 

Not sure how different it is from our trucks and the 04-08s but maybe this will help?

i mounted mine under my drivers seat. great spot!

 

What model? On my supercrew, I have a sub box under my seat and my amp right behind the back row on the wall on the drivers side

 

I mounted my amp under the front seat in my Supercab as well. Save you some money in power wire, and with the infamous rear window leaks, may save you an amp. With water running down the back window, it can get into your amp if its mounted on that back wall.

Mounted my amp under the rear 10% seat that folds up.. i have a supercab, not supercrew...and i never found out how my rear seats fold down.. don't think they do

 

yeah i dont know how to fold it either. i didnt even think about under the drivers seat. thanks for the imput fellas. hopefully the box amp and subs will be here when i get home from work tomorrow

 

yeah, my amp fits perfectly right there and you can ground it to the seat bolt to for a short ground.
