Painting dash help
Hey all,
I was thinking about spraying my dash similar to

And I was just wondering if there have been any write-ups, or if anyone has any general advice. Thanks!

Painting, looking for a durable, fade resistant black satin (oem type) finish. So to clarify 1) sand? if so what grit do you recommend 2) adhesion promoter (brand?) 3) krylon fusion satin black (how many coats do you recommend?)
I appreciate your help, I have attempted rattle can paint jobs on odds and ends before and it doesn't always come out the greatest, so I am trying to leave no room for error on my dash, because seeing as it's my daily driver, I will have to see it every day.

i used duplicolor adhesion promoter and use some paper that will rough it up some but i didnt go too rough and take off the texture on mine. maybe 600-800 grit will be fine.
then for the color i used about 3 or till it looked good since i used a flat rustoleum first and didnt like it. just make sure its not too humid or cold out and you should be fine.
