33s stock

ive got a 01 scab 4x4 with the t bars raised a little bit and know i can fit some 33x12.5s if not a little bigger

so whos running 33s or bigger stock with a torsion crank?
id like to see some pictures.

anyone have pics of 35s stock? im almost positive they will rub unless you have a crazy backspacing though

You can fit a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheel, but they will rub the frame at full steering lock. 33x12.50's fit easily. If you use 33's and a 10 inch wide aftermarket wheel you will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance.

I have 315/75-16 and they dont rub at all during normal driving. I went to the beach with a jeep group last weekend and they rubbed slightly on the plastic inner fender when turning and suspension compressed, but it was nothing im gonna worry about. Mine dont even rub the frame at full lock, my old setup did with 315/70-17 on stock wheels.

Yes, 16 is as small as you can go. Personally, I think there's a better selection of 16 and 18 inch tires than 17's.

I rub at odd angles, but I also need to replace my original shocks in the worst way. No torsion crank, but you get the idea.

I'm running 305/70/16 wheels on my stock FX4 truck. They fit but I had to trim some rubber off the fender wells. Occassionally I hear some scrapes if the suspension is compressed on back roads (while I'm turning) but trucking straight no issues. I've got the eagle 16x10 on there right now. I've bent two of them so I'm thinking about switching to these cheapy black wheels. I'm actually quite tired of trying to keep the wheels clean...lol

Is that because 15's will hit the brake caliper ?

correct, you cannot run 15 inch wheels, they'll hit the break caliper. My 16 wheels clear but they are close!

ive got 285/75/16 Dirt Grips which are 33.2 i believe and they are no problem on the stock rims. i also dont have the plastic piece on the bottom of the bumper! always seemed to get in the way of my front end clearance!
