atleast im not the only one!

im want the 4.88s so when these tires wear out i wont have to regear for the 38's. and people with 4.56's and 38's wish they had 4.88's. so thats why i want to get them.

so the boost-a-pump sounded like a stock chevy??

Dude.. I absolutely cant spend all day at school and not watch something racing on youtube.. I would die .

Thats going to be one quick truck for sure! I love it when people on the highway want to drive all slow in front of you(because they think huge truck means slow) and then you completely fly by them and they freak out and switch lanes all fast. That cracks me up all the time.

YES! exactly like a chevy.. I couldnt stand it. I would WAY rather hear the supercharger whining then some ghetto humming sound.

the only roads up here are two lane and the speed is 55!! so atleast i wont be running too high of rpm's when commuting.

my moms tahoe fuel pump was loud as hell.

Thats so sweet your trucks gonna be sweet!
I've got the 4.88's, It'll be downt the road but i was just trying to decide between slapping a sc on the 4.6 or selling the 4.6 and putting it towards a lightening motor. A used lightening motor is pretty reasonably priced it seems like and my motors is fairly low miles. But anyway, just wanted to comment. Your setup is/gonna be sick!

That sucks!! My truck gets up to 75-80 on a daily basis and some people refuse to drive the posted 70mph speed limit. Some prefer 60 which is entirely too slow for the left lane

I hate loud fuel pumps! You made a good choice

That depends on what kind of s/c set up you are wanting to run. You can find a good lightning motor for 5k or so, but you will want to get a different trans to go with it, unless you are wanting to rip the one you have apart . I guess you would be okay.. IF you could keep your foot out of it.. or just kept it out of overdrive when you were playing around.

Its hard to say, if you found a good deal on a vortech, powerdyne or something that would work on the 4.6 for cheap then I would jump on it. You can always swap in a 5.4 later.. thats what I am going to do. Most of those kits just require you to swap out crank pulleys for them to work on the 5.4s anyways.

I was thinking about just building my trans....after i rip it apart. Maybe your right tho. like i said i still haven't decided. Also thought about a SC'd 6.8, but i think im getting a little unrealistic with that one!

That would be a custom job! My mechanic suggested it. And that would be mean as you kno what. But so would a lightening motor and alot easier/cheaper.

Thats what I am saying! I want a video of trans explosion

A video of a rear end blowing up would be sweet too! Klitch never graced us with any of those.
