A used lightening motor is pretty reasonably priced it seems like and my motors is fairly low miles. But anyway, just wanted to comment. Your setup is/gonna be sick!
Roll Tide
how is your RPM's with the 4.88's and 35's at 60? are the gears still good for daily driving?

I'm thinken it would be cheaper for me to purchase this thing. I wouldn't have to anything but lift it, throw some 35's on there, replace the hood and paint it a decent color.

Ah crap, that would still be expensive, but I bet it would be a fun truck.

That guy is either going to pull out of the auction towards the end, - or someones going to get a good deal. The motor and trans have low miles/hours.

From what I can see, it looks like a factory install, - good workmanship and not just thrown together. Mechanically done well, like I said, -from what I can see.

The seller knows his transmissions as-well and it's built.

I think you should go 4.56's and find a spare trans to build @ http://www.car-part.com/. That way you'll have the hardware to do it all up once and it will last. It's just money, you'll have a nice set up.

Nah, being serious , the truck wouldn't move at one time lol. A shift kit fixed it.

For you, it would definitely be better than nothing. It will keep your temps down. For the trans, run AMSOIL. That's great stuff, - I only run that in the trans.

Oh , and ease into the power if you throw that blower on, - no wheelies.
