Looking good man! I'm excited to see how this looks with the boot.

I just read through this really quickly, but I may have missed something...
I saw that you were going to run a charger for the iPhone into the holder, but are you going to run an iPod/iPhone hookup to the stereo that way as well? It seems like it wouldn't be very hard to do that at this point.

Anyway looks good man!

Good idea animated zombie! Do iPhones/iPod's charge when plugged into a deck?

Some decks allow for multi function iPod use, such as charging and listening at the same time. I know my Alpine CDA-9886 does both.

Jake, how often do you visit junkyards? Can you keep a lookout for an Expy console for me? I want to try and go to a yard this coming week and see if I can find one and get a good deal on it

Thanks man. I was planning on running the charger to a hidden cigarette lighter plug inside the console but i decided against it since I didn't want to have to deal with where to put the plug when it wasn't charging. I'll put it in the storage part probably

Well I've been scanning the entire state on CL. don't go out of your to do it. I'll just keep an eye out, and hopefully I can grab one from a yard. The ones on eBay are in amazing shape, but I'm not dropping $350 to buy one and ship it to me.

How much stuff did if have with it again? Everything you needed? I'm finding some for reasonable price, but they seem to be missing quite a few pieces. Just search eBay for Ford Expedition center console and you will see the small "stock" on there right notify have a butt ton of lids though.

Search for the Lkq store on eBay they seem to always have a bunch. Mine had everything except one of the rubber mats for the center tray iirc but I'm not using that one anymore. Plus since I planned to paint it the condition wasn't too big an issue.

Also mines technically a navi console

Well let me know. Lol

And I just looked on their website, and they have 2 grey Expy consoles from a 2000, and then 1 or 2 from a navi, all around $110-$115 shipped. But I don't have the money right now...only got $50 from all my crap to sell on CL. need to get this stuff gone.

I would do 400 before primer and then 600 after. Maybe to 1000 but not always. I would use the 1000, 1500 and 3000 after when wetsanding and buffing though.
