Fog Light Wiring.....

I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer. I'm trying to wire my fog lights, so that they come on with the parking lights.

I've seen the "how to" for the 2000 and up, but I have a '99 and the harness is different.

I've already altered the ramp, so the switch pulls out, in the parking light position.

I need to know what wires to splice.

Thanks!

Again, yours is an '01, different wiring harness. I don't doubt your reply, just not sure if the wire colors are the same.

Thanks for the reply!

Here is a different take on what you want to do.
Fog lights will be an extra load on the park light circuit such that the fuse may need to be larger.
If there should be a failure of the fuse, all the lamps are out.
It would be a good idea to install a seperate relay that operates from the parking circuit as a very low extra load.
Then with a new fused 12 v source, feed the relay then to the Fog lamps independently.
You can even put a switch in the relay lead to have the option of using the Fogs or not.
This is really a very simple mod to wire up.
Good luck.

I believe this is also correct for a '99 ... at least that's what worked on my '99, as described here (see line of text after the first picture). Although I was wiring aftermarket lights to a factory fog switch, the mod to the switch wiring should be the same as using the factory fog lights.

Thanks for the link!

Looks like the wiring is the same, just different plugs.

I'll give it a try, this weekend.
