If you honestly think you won't buy another until it is absolutely dead and bloated then hang on to it. It's a gorgeous truck in amazing shape and will no doubt look and run great for a long time coming. My dad has a 2000 S-Cab XLT with just under 350,000 miles on it so you know a well taken care of Ford will last.
X2 i think they are the best body style ford truck to come out so far. I love our body style better than the 04-08 but i like the insides of the 04-08 KR's better than the 01-03. Id be in heaven if i could have a 01-03 with the 04-08 inside

It's not a 4x4 ? You should have sold it IMO. But, I know how you feel, - I could never sell mine. I'm having a hard time purchasing another truck while mines down, I need a truck but, I feel guilty or something, like I'm replacing this one . Is that ate up or what ?? :o

It's too hard to find an used king ranch where the leather has been taken care of. I wouldn't sell it, you'll regret not being able to find a used one that is in good condition.

That is that factory copper color just don't know the actual color, but the whole truck has been repainted to be one whole color. That is clean definitely a one of a kind KR. Look at the miles too 68k.

All you have to do is get the VIN and decode it to see if it's a real deal KR

Betcha a big reason he's getting good gas mileage is that it is NOT a 4x4.......

What the heck do you need a 4x4 for in Texas anyway - unless you offroad it? You can count on one hand the number of days each winter where it might be "nice" to have.

I love my truck too and have put quite a bit of work into it, but if some one offered me 14K for mine it would be gone.

KBB on your truck private party and excellent shape for your truck is $10,500 while mine is only $8,700 though.

EDIT: so if anyone wants my truck bring $14,000 with you and come get it. You can have everything with it, stereo wheels/tires programer tool box etc...

Sorry, my comment was in reference to Coy, the original poster. His truck is a street queen.

you could count it on two fingers but when it does happen she stays under the carport, do you realize what happens with west texas drivers on snow and ice

Just don't burn the bridge Coy.... How many times have we made a strict decision and then the would have/could have passes by you? I know I have had a few ! Keep your options open..... Sounds like the Old Man won't be far away if you find a decent replacement to your liking

Totally understand what you are saying, i wasnt rude to him or anything but he dont seem to take the answer no, seems like he is kinda pushing me to sell it and i dont like that. The old man is the nicest person you will ever meet. He offered me his truck for even trade but its a 06 4.6 xlt supercrew 128000 miles.
