Which one? The green 1st gen dodge, the 1st gen dodge with the western hauler bed, or the 77 F-200 (F150 with a 8 lug rear lol)...

The green 1st gen is forsale, PM me, I'll make you a deal, its got a 440, 727, cruise, A/C and has less than 90K miles on it...

If the 09 mirros will work on it I would use them...

Well, she is finished, well as finished as she needs to be to get inspected and tagged. I have to take the truck to Ford for a security reflash in the computer but thats only 90 bucks so no big deal. It still has stock fenders and the beat the hell front bumper that was on the truck from the wreck but the fenders and bumper wont be on there for long as I have my fiberglass baja fenders and I will either build or buy a prerunner bumper.

We got the old A/C condenser bolted back into place (I got a new one but didn't feel like messing with it right now), I never disconnected the lines so I will just fill the system and see if everything is good to go. I put the new all aluminum radiator in next and just filled it with water for right now as I want to flush the engine cause its been setting forever. An aftermarket aluminum radiator, stock mounting brackets, new core support, and a wrecked truck does not make for well fitting parts sometimes. It was a tight fit to get the mounts to hold the radiator right but eventually it went in. We put all the small pieces and parts back on and got all the electrical connectors back together and I fired it up and took it out for a ride around the block. She runs great though she does run a little rough (just barely noticable) occasionally but the tank is 3/4 full and the gas has been setting in their for over a year. I will dump a can of Seafoam in the gas and some in the engine oil, rear axle, 5 speed, front axle and t-case and run it for a couple days and change all of them. I will change the fuel filter after I'm done. And I know for a fact the truck has never had the fluid changed in the 5 speed, front axle or t-case and it needs it I'm sure.

I also ordered a set of these today, clear corner lights. Brand new for 25 bucks shipped to the house off E-bay. I still have to make a run to the junkyard and get some small stuff to help with the fit and finish of the truck but for now, it will work.

Corner lights. I will eventually go to the matching crystal headlights too...

I will post some pics tomorrow some time of the "finished" product...

Well here is the finished product, like stated above, the bumper is junk but will have to work so it will be road legal until I get the fiberglass fenders on it and get a prerunner for it. This is the new aluminum radiator I bought for it. I am waiting for the corner lights to get here next week.

I had my PATS system reflashed yesterday for the new dash cluster at Bartow Ford and another key cut for it. I left there and went to Regal Chevrolet and had them do the out of state VIN inspection, then drove to the Title Office and paid them my 417 dollars to get my new title and tag from the state. I also picked up my new clear corner lights and installed them today along with a new set of wiper blades cause mine was shot and dumped a can of seafoam in the fuel tank because it was running rough. Hopefully with some fresh fuel, fuel injector cleaner and a new fuel filter it will be running alot better.

That's a wiked job man! Now just throw on a lift, tires and paint, and you'll have a sweet rig (I'm loving that hood/grille combo).

It was actually supposed to be a Harley F150 grille but after I took it out of the box 6 months later I realized it was a Navigator grille. I am waiting to paint cause I still have to put the flared fiberglass fenders on it. Also there will be no lift yet cause with the flared fenders and the bars cranked a little I can fit 37x12.50's and the cheapest 37's you can buy are HMMWV tires and that is what I'm going to run on either recentered H1 beadlocks, 5-135mm bolt pattern 16.5x9.75 Black D-windows, or put 5x135mm to 8x6.5 wheel adapters on the truck and run 8 lug 16.5x9.75 wheels. I just got alot of measuring and fitting to do before making my decision and thats why I'm waiting to put the fenders on it. I am going to replace the bed on it cause the tailgate, bed floor, fenders wells and front of the bed are totally screwed from using it for farm work. So a real paint job is going to have to wait for that. When I get the fenders on I will paint everything forward of the firewall for now. The lift (when I get the 4K dollars) will be the Dixon Bros. Long Travel 4x4 kit, it will also get regeared to 4.88's or deeper...

Read above...I have the one from the junk fender that will work on this one. I plan to go to the new model badges cause I like them better. If I do 8 lug adapters I am going to have custom F-200 badges made so it will eventually match my 77 F-200 sled puller...

Dixon Bros. Racing is the one I want but I am going to have it built locally. I am going with the bed cage from Dixon Bros. and eventually I will tie them together with a cab cage...

We also worked on it some more today because it had a dead miss in cylinder #1, after pulling the coil pack we realized it had water laying around the spark plug and the inside of the coil pack was wet. This was from me not covering the engine when it set with no hood on it. So we blew everything out with an air nozzle and pulled the plug and dried everything out and put it back in and fired it up and ran perfect. Went down to Advance Autoparts and picked up a new air filter and it runs alot better. I am taking it on a 120 mile ride tomorrow to drop a tranny/t-case and a set of swampers off to some guys...

Here is another pic of the bumper and bed cage...
