Chop, cut, rebuild...2001 F150...
This is the wheel and tire combo that I will be using...
16x10 Pro Comp Black Steel Streetlocks...
Pro Comp TYPE 152 STREETLOCK BLACK Wheels from National Tire & Wheel @ NTW
315-75-16 General Grabber AT2's...
GENERAL Grabber AT2 LT315 75R16 121Q D8 @ TiresDirect.Net
The wheels and tires are going to run me about 1250.00 after shipping, mounting and balancing, I would of gotten the tire from the same place as the wheel but I'm not paying around 30 dollars more a tire when a tire shop will only charge me 10 dollars a piece to mount and balance them...

This is what I accomplished in 2.5 hours today...
The hood removed...

Passenger fender removed...

Passenger headlight and what was left of the grille removed...

Driverside headlight, grille parts, and fender removed (this fender is still good)...

Everything gone but the bumper...

Everything off...Just have to drill the spot welds and pull the core support out...

Gotta love Ohio winters...Only rust spots on the whole truck...I think every Ford from the north is like this...

Here is what my brother and the neighbor got done with today...I will have more pictures tomorrow after we finish the sand blasting and painting...We had to saw-z-all the body mount bolts because they snapped off and were seized in the sleeves...If you have to get new body bushings then plan on getting through Ford, they are a dealer only item...65.00 for the tops and bottoms total...I got to buy new bolts for them also...I am using black RUSTOLEUM rust encapsulating paint, RUSTOLEUM red paint, and RUSTOLEUM gray filler/primer...On the inner fenders they sanded and shot it with the black rust encapsulator then coated it with the red...On the new core support they scuffed and shot the black e-coat with the gray filler/primer then coated it with the red...I plan to coat the lower part of the inner fenders and under side of the fiberglass fenders with black John Deere under fender paint...I hate John Deere but their black under fender paint lasts for years and is semi-gloss and looks great...The sand blaster is a Campbell-Hausfield dad bought 7 years ago to do a truck frame for a guy...They had to drill and chisel the old spot welds as no one in Lakeland had a spot weld cutter bit...I may have to cut out the centers of the frame mounts and weld in some plates as the centers have began to rust out and the hole is becoming larger...
Inner fenders painted...

New core support partially painted...

Cleaning the frame...

Sand blasting the frame...

Inner fenders...

Old core support...

I run the General Grabber AT2's. They are very very good tires! Highly recommended. Good luck with your project

Yes...I know...But I just can't justify the cost...
I found a set of tires that look close to the red letters but they are only 170 a tire with free shipping...
I just seen your in Orlando...I'm in Lakeland...
