Thumbs down My pos ford :'(

Well first off i have a 97 f150black 4x4 and i have a 5 inch rough county suspension lift along with 35x12.50 bfg all terrains sitting on eagle alloys....... i have ran into a lot of problims with my truck such as i had to replace the rear end about a mouth ago. and now my brakes when out and i hit a tree so now i have a totaly messed up truck that is realing starting to let me down. dont get me wrong i love my truck. so i have no brakes like the pedal goes to the floor just b tapping it. i would really like to get a truck that my lift kit and rims would fit on. i just dont trust this truck any more......... any sugestions what to do let me know

Yea, get yourself a Moped. That truck don't deserve you. The truck is 13 years old and still running. If you can't so much as fix the brakes, - it should be taken from you and given to someone more competent. You obviously would rather complain and point your finger than do maintenance on her. That's not love. Maybe it you that's a POS ? ?

I acctualy agree with Jbrew on this one if all you do is throw a lift and tire on and never take care of her she will slap you one day.

truck slapped ya, now your getting slapped on here.

#1 important equipment on ANY moving object is the brakes, if ya cant take the damn time to work on them, you dont deserve to drive it.

Grow up and start taking care of your damn truck. Maintenance is the most important thing. I feel really sorry for that poor truck.

weird... I never messed up my 8.8 when the truck was on 36's. But then again. I took care of the important things. Brakes, fluids, ball joints, tie-rods.

The only thing that i intentionally let go overdo was the shocks. But buy that time i knew I was going either with a 6" lift or SAS.

Actually, I still have my original. It's under the bench tho. I just use it to jump start another vehicle when needed. It's come in handy a few times. Those old Motorcrafts will stay right @ 12.8 volts for ever.
