nah thats how theyre designed to make it so if you have even bigger wheels and tires or cutout flares etc they wont hit. it does look off at first though

it took me a while to save for them but the need presented itself. ie gf and all my friends were tired of not being able to get in

Hey man, I had some ideas on making the shifter work best in that console. Hurst has a short throw shifter that would shorten the swing so your boot wouldn't have to be really big, you could do something in a custom leather, you could also cut the shifter a few inches under the boot, weld the bottom left side of a 3" piece of 1/4" plate to the flat top part of the cut shifter and weld the handle side of the cut shifter to the top right side to get the handle more centered. I think this would give you more of a car shifter look and feel that I think would more match the looks of that console. I'm also onboard with the TV idea, I think you should mold in a screen on the back of the console.

Just my thoughts, everything looks great though!

The Nfabs look awesome man. The center console is looking good. I wanted to do that as well but I not only have the manual I also have the floor shift transfer case so that made my decision right there.

yea im gonna take the shifter out and look at it really. ive seen the hurst ones but the bend on the shifter itself is pretty dramatic but would be easier to mess with than the stock one. problem is they run about 200+ only time will tell

really thought you had one but this one was just random find actually. guy was using his 98 wreck for a parts truck and couldnt use it on his 99 so got it cheap

well the big three are missing the point that the base and xl model trucks that do have manual transmissions dont get clusters with tachs.... so i have to swap this one in
