What percentage? Is it tinted afterwards or pretinted? I suppose that is extremely illegal considering my 5% brow down a bit past the mirror is already very illegal...

35%, it is illegal, and it was done before it went in but could be done after also

cool, next time i'll remember to set an alarm for every time you make a thread about the latest thing you've done to your truck, that way i will never miss out on anything!

how do you find the tint on the windshield? do you ever find it too dark?

also i'm planning on re-finishing the mounting brackets for my step-bars with bedliner, like the stuff you did your rockers and bumpers with. any prep tips?

Thanks Ethan. Still have to make some pieces to clamp against the Jack and the wing nuts and install the cool lock I bought

ha sounds like a plan

I had to call around alot to find someone that would do it and it took some convinceing. The windshield is just fine it's sometimes dark out the front side windows since they're at like 9%.

My rockers were done by a local shop with the high pressure spray on. Now you might try the rustoleum bed liner that comes in a spray can. I've used it on some overload springs and they've been sitting in my bed since may and through all the rain and such and have weathered just fine. It's like 8 bucks a can at autozone unless you want to have them done at a shop

i took 2 big washers and cut the edge off both of them so that had a flat spot. they fit perfectly inside the edges of the jack, and the wingnut goes down right over it.
