Nice work man. Always cool to see your latest mods.

I'm not digging the plate mounted in the windshield though. Is that where you intend on keeping it?

Well yes for now at least. were "required" to have a front plate and theres no way im putting that piece o crap oem bracket on my front bumper. its also better than having it sitting on the dash crumpled up and not visible really at all.

i am however open to other suggestions if you have them.

Hmm, I hear what you're saying. We're "supposed" to have them displayed in the front as well. I do have the relocation mounting kit that came with my Westin Bull Bar, but I wasn't about to mount it either.

I do the dash route. Majority of the time my plate sits underneath my seat, but I will also keep it up in the dash.

I'm considering a 75% tint or something in that ballpark for the trucks next windshield. Not over bearing, but will help with the daytime drives, especially if I'm payloadin the camper.

On my old truck, I had 35% on my front windshield like Jake with a 20% brow on top of that to give it that "stock" look. Never got hassled by the cops over it. It was great during the day and at night blocking out bright lights, but in combo with 5% tint on everything else I had on the truck, it was a bit too dark at times.

i have yet to do the brow jsut because im lazy and they stock blue at the top makes it darker already, but i know what your saying. the rest of the windows are 9% and 5% and at night it gets sometimes too dark out the side windows but the front is still just fine. i honestly plan to do this from now on after i realized how much it helps.

Pat and chris - I just feel too bad leaving it off and it's just another reason to get pulled over

Also pat I don't have the frame rail you need anymore. I got those seats cheaper than he wanted cuz they didn't come with the frames and seat belt buckles so I'm looking for some

Dinggus it's sitting in wait till I decide where I want to put it.

But I did start yet another project tonight that should be pretty cool
