There are little plastic vacuum lines behind the battery that like to crack.

do you have the manual or electronic controlled A/C system? I have the electronic system and the same thing happened a while back. Thought it was the usual suspect vacuum leak but turned out I needed a whole new A/C control system. Not cheap!

If you have the electronic system, there's a self test you can do, I think someone in the HVAC forum should have those instructions.

A brand new one from the dealer I think is around $600? I ended up getting a used one from from a junk yard that I talked him down to $100 with a guarantee that it was in perfect working order, and luckily it was. If I had the option I would have the normal manual A/C controls instead!

The concern is usually the vacuum cannister tucked along the right fender, removeal of the battery is needed. It gets a small crack in it
