So I got one of the little R134 refrigerant kits and I cant for the life of me find the fitting to test and top off the refrigerant on the 5.4. The kit is a one size fits all, and worked fine on my mustang but the damn fitting that is in the same place as on the 4.6 is too big... maybe its a purge valve and not a filler valve, I dont know.

Has anyone used this? is the fitting in a different location that I am just overlooking?

 

Its on the accumulator. Passenger side, on the firewall. Looks like a coffee can, bright silver.
