Big wheels is a must on a lowered 4x4...to make up the difference of not being able to lower it as much.Still a cool idea...

no one said it wasnt possible.. hell they make lowering keys for a 4wd truck.. the op wants pics of lowered 4x4s, but since next to no one believes in it there is more than likely no one that really has any pics.. i could be wrong though..

That's not necessarily true. There's a guy in Washington, from another site I'm on, who's lowered 4X4 is as low as mine.
I'll look for a pic.

I'm going that way, got a beltech kit, but haven't had a chance to tear into it. I hope you're not thinking about ground force, because when I was doing research a year ago, they had abandoned this body style, opting for a 04 and newer only strategy. So that's a six year window, 03 kits discontinued in 09.

love the pic c_ulater!

had to add an "I believe"

find out what he has done up front to go lower and let me know please!!!
so far i've only found out that you can get chevy torsion key's and put those on to go a 1" or so lower then our torsion keys let us, and as for the rear, that's up to you, on mine i just have removed the lift block and 2" shackles, looking for hangers now and possibly l leafs.
