I just took some old healights and fogs i had laying around, cut the backs off of them and plastic welded the 9007 bulb socket onto the back of the then cutout back of the fog lights. I really didnt expect it to work but it did. Never had a problem from them. Ill be damned.

That is quite interesting. 9007 bulbs burn at 55/65 watts and for housings designed for 35W, those bulbs should melt them. Kinda cool either way!

What part of Florida you from? Gaylando?

haha, that was actually my thoughts when i did it. Once I finished, I turned them on in the driveway on high and just waited and watched and kept feeling them for about an hour and they barely felt warm so I took the bulbs out and felt around inside and they were fine so I just let it ride.

and I am from polk county, to hell with orlando and traffic. even though its starting to get pretty populated in lakeland now too.
