I just owned a quad turbo v12 bugatti eb110 gt in a race with my 4.6! I imagine it would have been better with a 4.2 in there. Either way the bugatti owner was crying and he said he was going to buy the next 150 he could get his hands on as long as it wasnt a 5.4

I've seen the 5four smoke those built Duramaxes. Joey (built54) has a cool video of that somewhere. Made the guy eat his words, that's for sure. Awesome vid!

well if it was the early 80's like 82-84. it could have been brand spankin new and you would beat it. if it was a 350 and you beat it, then yes it was beat to hell. but it also could have been a V6. and they offered 2 different 305s and one of them only came with an auto and one of the rear end ratios they offered was horrible. made the car go from about 7 seconds to 60 to about 9-10 just from the different rear end ratio.

I used to beat GTs all the time....when i had my trans am lol. i tried in my 4.2 against a SVT cobra. kinda pulled up beside him both going about 40 and i took off since i knew i would need a head start. he blew by me but it took him longer to pass me than i thought it would take. my trans am would still have beat that thing.

yeah, like 150hp and 400Lb-ft of a difference. ive seen a video of a 12 second powerstroke beating a turbo honda civic and that would take a little work to do...on the powerstroke AND the civic
