Okay, to settle this. I have a neighbor with a 5.4 screw that has done absolutely nothing to his truck. I have a 4.2 that Im putting UDP's and efans to match with my gryphon. Once they are all in Ill ask my 65 year old neighbor to let the punk kid down the street to go and race his pride and joy just to settle a silly debate on a website. Im sure he will jump and the chance!

 

That's is one nice neighbor (or maybe senile?) to let some "punk kid" down the street drag race his truck. I'd tell you to "get off my lawn"

 

I was kinda joking, that dude would never let me touch his truck. I volunteered to help him unload some mulch, and he told me I was doing it wrong and I might damage his truck. Needless to say, I was confused.

yeah i saw this one. we argued on youtube for a bit because he claimed his NBS manual 4.2L came with 3.08s. but he doesnt have the truck anymore to prove it. i told him they never offered them in the NBS V6 manual. the 97-03 style had them but not he 04-08.

oh DUDE! you cant compare a 4.2L to a 305! what are you thinking? a freakin honda has more ***** than a 305 does! also the 4.2 was rated the most reliable V6 in a truck. altho i disagree, i think the best is the chevy 4.3L but i would say the 4.2 is next on the list. and the reason the 5.4L was supercharged in the lightning is because that is the only way ford knows how to make power. if it cant keep up...supercharge it. then when it wins we will make fun of the other car that makes 10hp less than our supercharged one
