seen these? 'Qwik Valve' (replaces drain plug)

Anyone SEEN THESE / USE THESE?

(from the web site)

Qwik valve drain plug replacement
F-106: Engine Oil Drain Valve 14mm-1.5

http://www.qwikvalve.com/F-106-14mm-1.5.html

Introducing the best way to change oil, the Engine Oil Drain Valve.
Install this valve and you can drain your engine oil without tools and without mess.
Just lift the lever of this solid brass ball valve and give it a quarter turn to open it.
Return the lever to its original position and it locks closed, double sealed to prevent leakage.
The Engine Oil Drain Valve is made of corrosion resistant forged brass and stainless steel.
The ball valve design provides a straight flow for efficient drainage and a perfect seal when closed.
Frozen drain plug and stripped threads are eliminated forever.
Drawing samples for oil analysis is as easy as one-two-three.
Sizes to fit all cars, light trucks vans heavy-duty trucks and buses.

Let me know?

I've seen them before. I can't say that I personally see any real advantage to it. But as mentioned in the link, it would work perfect if you're into taking oil samples for testing and such.

Is there anything wrong with the current bolt? Has it ever failed on you? Exactly.

If you are too lazy to spend 30 seconds to remove a bolt that you do every 3-4 months, well, you deserve to have your engine's blood all over the ground.

As much as I hate it, "a stock truck is a reliable truck"

Yeah, removing the drain plug is hardly the most difficult or annoying part of changing the oil. Now, if they made a product that simplified removing the oil filter, I'd be all for that. (Other than a relocator, which will end up putting the filter some place less protected from road debris.)

I have one on my other truck and it works great. Never had an issue for over 60,000 miles and it makes the oil change easy and mess free. Have more for my 150, Stang and my girlfriends car on the way right now actually.

Sounds like you need two beer funnels. One to drain the oil and reroute it around the crossmember, then another for recreation when you're done.
