Wow, very cool. Never had any idea that "heritage edition" existed. 15,000 is pretty rare, I know I've never seen one around.

Ahhh that description thread really helped clear it up for me! For a while I just thought the Heritage edition were the leftover 03's (badged 04's) and that they just dressed some of them up. I didn't know there was an actually an 03 Heritage Edition. Learn something new everyday, and it is a beautiful truck. I saw a fancy dressed up one in real life at a McDonalds in Sauk Center, MN the other weekend comin back from the farm, parked my truck next to it and envied it, kinda like I do with the King Ranch... But I do love my truck!!

Thanks guys, I like learning stuff like that!

2003 Heritage Edition

I bought my 2003 Heritage Edition about 3 months ago, and I still find myself walking up to it and admiring how good it looks. It's a 2X4 5.4 Supercab, and with the exception of a BakFlip tonneau cover I've added, it's completely original, even the radio!
The 2004 "Heritage" trucks (NOT "Heritage Edition", just "Heritage") were essentially leftover 2003 body style trucks sold in 2004.
A friend of mine has a new (2011) Silverado, and he even admits my 9 year old baby looks better than his truck!

I passed up a really good deal on a clean Heritage Edition while looking for a second truck a few months ago. Changed my mind the next day, drove up to the dealer and it was sold lol.

A buddy at work told me the 97-03 body style was produced until ~2009 in Mexico. He said almost all of them were white XL single cabs with the 4.2/M5OD.
