digital camera/camcorder?

Hey I was wondering what you guys are using to take pictures of your trucks, the picture quality looks really good in some of the pictures. I've been using my camera phone and laptop with less than phenomenal results, as some of you have witnessed by looking at my pictures on here. I went on e-bay and amazon, and 12 mega pixel cameras seem to be the best resolution I can get at a relatively cheap price. What should I be looking for in a camera to get great pictures?

Thanks for the info, any of these work well in low-light conditions, like night time?

no. if you want good night pics, the key is a tripod, and a SLR or D-SLR helps as well

Yeah I saw online those SLR cameras are the best, but I don't want to spend that much. I found several Kodak Cyber-Shot DSC-220 cameras on e-bay for $100 each, I think I'll go with one of those..it seems to be a good compromise between quality and price.
