I have the white silver combo also and dont care for it much either. Plan to repaint it DSG soon as this pollen goes away. Its a very subtle 2 tone paint scheme that looks good i just want more of a POP.

Be sure to post up pics of before and after. That sounds like it will look good.

My truck is the same white and silver.. Did you notice that the stock pinstripe was a dark metallic green? Anyway, I took off the upper stripe, but left the bottom. I would like to repaint my truck a different color eventually as well. What color is DSG?

It had a blue/green cast to it after I pulled it off, but I thought it might be from stretching it on removal. I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm liking more and more without the wide factory lower, and without the upper at all. Looks more "modern" and cleaner.

I think I am going to put a narrower (3/8" - 1/2") stripe back on as a separator, though. I'm liking the idea of at least a slight break between the two light colors, especially since I'll have black step bars on there again.

Also, after I pulled the driver's side tape, I found that the front and rear doors are about 1/8" off vertically silver-to-silver. The doors are lined up on the body just fine, but not to each other? It almost looks like they were painted before they were aligned, then the stripe was put on afterward.

"DSG" is Dark Shadow Gray. Not sure of the factory paint code.
