de Pinstriping - Pics Needed

I thought I'd post here for you to check out my other thread HERE". I'm looking for pics of flareside trucks with upper pinstriping (non-Lariat) to get ideas of what I should do on mine, since Ford doesn't even show part numbers for my stripes. (I buggered up the right-side doors, and I need to come up with a replacement option.)

I might just leave them off, but I'm still entertaining ideas until I'm sure.

Thanks in advance.

Andy

No pintstripes is the best way. PinStripes are tacky.

I normally hate pin stripping but the lariat stripes look pretty good on the 97-03's.

Not my style. Even the Lariats well the short pinstriping looks good. The bed stipes look terrible.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. You don't happen to have a full-on side shot, do you? I'm most interested in where the cab ends and the bed begins. (And I guess where the stripe ends on the bed.)

Andy

EDIT: Love that color, BTW.

I'm the same way. I've pulled the stripes off of just about everything I've owned that had them, but I really do like the stock upper. I just can't find a replacement. I may end up leaving it off, but I will need a separator between the silver and the white down below. Fortunately, I think I have several options for that.

Here's the factory look:

I'm going to miss it.

Maybe it won't look that bad after all.

(I still like it better with, though.)

Thanks I love the color too! Sorry I don't have a side shot but the ends of the stripe come to a point before the end of the cab, and the start of the bed. The stripes are separate.

eBay Search = 0 results found for F150 lariat stripe
Your search returned 0 items.

I've decided to either leave them off completely or go with just a single or double (wide/narrow) stripe on the bottom.

I'll wait until I get my step bars re-installed (or replaced) before making up my mind.

NO STRIPES

LOWER STRIPE MOCK-UP (Electrical tape)

I am digging the black down below as well. I have the same paint scheme on a SCREW and I HATE the silver. I am gonna put a black stripe down there as soon as I get some time and see if that improves things. If not... I will probably hercaliner it like THEJAKE

I really like the silver lowers. One of the reasons I decided on this truck.

So far, one for and one against. Maybe I should start a poll.

I'm liking it both ways. Without looks "clean," while with gives a more definite "break" between the two light colors. Maybe it will become more obvious when the tube steps are back in place. (They'll be black.)

Grab the electrical tape, and have at it! You'll know in about 7 minutes.
