Just a foot note on the drop shackles. When I bought mine, I found out the same ones fit Ford or Chevy. I thought that was kind of interesting. Probably the only interchangeable parts on the whole truck.

is there a company that sells A-Pillar Gauge Pods? or any of you guys have a idea on where to place a basic autometer gauge in the cabin that is functional to look at and has a semi factory look? i have a AutoMeter D-Pic gauge from my GTP that im hoping to get installed along with a small tachometer hense why i would like the a pillar pod but anything will do. also how much does a full body life normally cost for a truck like this? and i think that most of the illusion to my truck seeming lowered is the fact that i might have taller than stock tires on it. they were brand new when i bought the truck in november and they looked beastly then. then again i came from a 255/55/18" summer sport tire haha lots of things look beastly

Welcome to the forum!

I can't recall the company's name, but there are single guage pods out there for our trucks to mount on the A-pillar.

As for the M90, there are a few people on another board I'm on that have boosted 4.2's. Only thing is the adapter plate is $900!!!!!!

yeah that adaptor sounds a bit on the steep side.. but thats still cheaper than the cost of boosting a N/A L36. and as of tonight my drivers side rear wheel bearing has begun to sound like a helicopter trying to land in a running blender

Only reason they are so expensive is because Super Six Motorsports is really the only people out there with anything for going F/I on a OHV Ford V6 motor, both 3.8 and 4.2.

I have thought about asking the local, well known Mustang shop here in arlington if they would be interested in developing a "bolt-on" F/I kit for our trucks/mustangs. Either turbo or s/c.

So I did a little research on drop shackles. There are two companies I found that make the OEM style welded one-piece shackle with rubber bushings. I believe both are 1" and 2" adjustable.

Belltech #6400
McGaughy #33037

I just bought the McGaughys for $45 delivered from cheaptruckparts.com. My local LesSchwab wanted $60 + tax for the Belltechs but for $20 I can wait until next week. The Autozone/NAPA/CarQuest 2 piece style shackles looked pretty cheap and I wouldn't trust them for towing or hauling any amount of weight. Just a heads up.

Oh, I actually know how that is. A guy by the s/n of DIY150 on v6f150 is the one selling that kit. It was going to be a SICK build, but he got a promotion or something and now has to sell it. Sucks though...
