Help with HORN---2003

Hey guys I need some help locating some part numbers for the horns. The Factory wire harness that goes to the Fog lights also powers the Horns with a jumper wire. I'm not screwing with rewiring all of that so I need some replacement horns. A guy at Autozone said it was probably factory only and i tend to believe him since I had to take back the EXACT SAME PART NUMBER horn to Advance Auto because the connection was different. Here are some pics:

Can ya'll provide the Ford part numbers and where to get them at a reasonable price. The Autozone guy said they were probably $50 a piece!!! I'm gonna try ebay if I can find the part numbers---HELP---DirtySCREW

The connectors are the only thing specific to the horns. Any parts store horn will work the same if you wire it up yourself. This is what I did when my low pitch horn went out (one is low pitch and one is higher to make the horn tone) I just got a low pitch horn at the part store, clipped the harness connector off and wired it up with spade connectors. Just do that as the ford specific one will prob be expensive.

PS: I just looked at tascafordparts.com and they have the ford horns for $45.10 plus shipping. Not sure if thats for both or what, but you could call and ask.

I bought some Fiamm horns from Advanced auto...and as a matter of fact the numbers on the new horn were the same as the old ones...but as you stated the connector is different. I'm not messing with trying to rewire the horns as it gets power from a wire harness that goes to the fog lights. I ain't "f'ing" that up! I'll see what tasca can advise. Thanks---DirtySCREW

Another question I had is Is there any type of connector adapter that I can plug into the factory jump wire that changes the connector from the "nipple" type to a standard type??---DirtySCREW

2L3Z13832AA

I ordered from Tascafordparts.com It was 45.10 with $10 ship for a total of $55.10. MSRP is $68. At least I saved a few bucks!---DirtySCREW

I received my new horn yesterday from Tasca! Awesome experience. I recommend them to everyone. Fast shipping and good prices. I installed it last night and now my truck sounds good! I guess I can take the "horn broke, watch for finger" sticker off! LOL--Jk------DirtySCREW

There was no need to get a new connector. All you have to do is cut the wires jut before the horn terminals, then spade connect the new onto that, and jump the other horn off the others. I did this in less than 10 min with mine. I will take some pics.
