Every company is going to have hacks, and every company is going to have guys that do it right. Thats just the nature of the game. The life time warranty is on the product itself, not the labor. Most shops do not guarantee their install for the life of the vehicle. Best Buy does. Also, what happens if your on a road trip and your alarm goes haywire? Your SOL, and have to pay to have a different shop troubleshoot it, or try it yourself. Best buy's warranty is nationwide. No one else can touch that. Just remember, just because we work or worked for best buy, that doesn't necessarily mean that we are hacks.
There is also a way to disable the vipers alarm with just your vehicle key if you loose your key fob, at least on mine. I would then just wait till I got home.
And also the shop I had mine installed at does warranty their Viper installs for the life of the vehicle on labor and the parts. They do a great job there also.
*I was by no means trying to put down anybody that is a employee of BestBuy or was. It was just a personal experience/story I wanted to share.*

If you do find one, Please let me know, i would love to have mine chirp like a police siren when i arm/Disarm mine. Not to mention that your idea of it attracting more attention sounds like it would be more pheasable, Everyone will want to come out of thier houses and start building bleachers on the sidewalks to findout what is going on like they do at accidents (thinking of a Dane Cook comedy skit....lol)
