There's about 10 screws (maybe 8 I don't remember) between it and the chrome trim piece I got to most of them through the wheel well. I painted mine while doing the honeycomb grille, so I had the grille surround out to access the middle screws. You'll have to remove the license plate holder on the bottom, it's just on with more plastic body clips.

I used Krylon Fusion Satin Black and just a cheap poly clear. If i had to re do it, I'd for sure use an adhesion promotor first and a professional clear coat.

Yea been there done that..trust me..it's easier to mask the front end off than mess with it. But if you do it, sand first, adhesion promotor, sand, primer, sand, base coat, sand, clear and it'll look great.

and all back together

Bed rails and window trim really changes the truck

Unfortunately I will have to re paint mine, the Krylon fusion website says fully chip resistant in 7 days... Just my luck the next day we had a tornado nearby drop golf ball size hail and really did a number on it and my newly painted grille.

Nope I just used a ton of newspaper and masking tape, also sprayed the tailgate handle while everything was taped off. It was a pain in the *** for sure, but it worked out fine.

Gotts intake and Amsoil EA air filter, OBX long tube headers, Magnaflow 94106 cats, Magnaflow 2.5" x pipe, running straights right now but thinking of putting the spintechs back in there. PHP gryphon tuner, with custom tunes ordered waiting on stage 2 cams...and just have to figure out how to pass emissions

Where did you get your wheels? Did you powdercoat em yourself?

I got em off of craigslist, a guy was cleaning out his garage and put them up there. I took them to a powdercoater and had them done for $300 with a clear coat powder coat on top of the black. The gotts, I'll say hasn't hurt the truck at all. I'm not really sure if I've noticed any gains with it. But it is a cheap way to get a 3" intake that draws outside air from the fender so take that for what it's worth.
