We had -27 last week when the cold that Florida has today was just coming into our area. Plugged in, the Edge said my engine coolant temp was -2 when I started it. Normally, it reads in the 20-30 range for a normal nite of single digit temps. Those are the mornings I let her idle for a few minutes first.

Hate to think what you will look like later in life - George Hamilton style. Man, that sun beating down on you will turn the skin to leather, UGH...

jjokn, enjoy what you have.

That is impressive. I've seen mine display single digits before when in the mountains of Western MD. But I've never seen negative temps displayed .

So, when the temperature is around freezing, my display will read\flash "ICE" for the first 30 seconds or so when it starts up. Did yours read, "It's freakin cold! Go back inside!" ??

I would use a couple block heaters in those temps, as much as I hate them. Seems like you would lock up the truck if you didn't. Hell, my windows freeze shut as it is, I hate that, specially when you don't realize it until your in line at the drive thru.
