97' bulbs?

A few months ago I replaced the cheap replacment headlight bulbs to silverstars and im happy with the results. However, I would like something brighter and something with a bluish tint like HId's, dont get my wrong I dont want my truck to look like a rice burner though. I have looked at the recon xenon bulbs, and some other hella's but I have also heard that some 55w bulbs will destroy the wiring harness?

why not get HIDs? they are ~$50 for a kit, about the same price as silverstars.

PIAAs and Hellas do have regular halogens with a blue coating, but keep in mind the blue actually decreases your luminous output, so basically you are trading color for usable light
