Well, I tried finding that plumber pipe, turns out they don't even make it anymore in 3". So, now I'm stuck sanding this PVC pipe down by hand!

haha it takes me a little over 50 to fill up...yea my grandparents and uncles live in germany and they pay about 2.50 a liter!

Nice, turned out I just went out and spent $60 on a 3x18 belt sander. Helped alot! Now for the Gotts Mod, my tube didn't actually fit in there perfectly, so I just pushed the coupling all the way to the hole as a seal for some of the open air spots. I can't tell if I notice a different or not, but, I'll see when I'm actually driving it. Here's the finished product:

Yeah I got rid of the snorkel on my airbox...and even tried it without the one half of the air box, just the open K&N with the snap clip holding the filter and it didn't seem any different either...

How? I did what the DIY thread told me to do, which was disconnect the battery.

I just used a hand grinder and grinded the end of the pvc that way.
