You could level it. That's $40 for the spacers, install the yourself(which is a piece of cake to do) and $60 to spend on the alignment.

If your interested in performance mods, I would suggest possibly getting an eBay intake and a quality filter to go on it.

I have no personal experience with k&n, but when I was reading about them, people were saying that they didn't fit good in the stock airbox so some air and dust could get around the filter. I have a s&b drop in filter and i don't have any complaints about it.

Okay, I have no access to parts to do the leveling, which I wish I could do. As for the filter and Gotts Mod, I can do that, just I don't have a dremel tool or sander.

I did the gotts mod with out the need for a sander. Get the smaller sewer pipe the thinner walled stuff. cost me under $6 for about 10 feet of the stuff. Fits right in the fender hole. Then just the 3 inch rubber sewer pipe connector that cost about $6 total $12 only tool you really need is a hacksaw and a flathead screw driver

Okay, and you got those at Home Depot? The only thing I'm afraid of is messing up and then my truck is torn apart.

Yep thats where I got it. You dont do anything to your truck that cant be reversed. Just take off the airfilter housing and remove the stock snorkel at the end. The thin pipe i'm talking about has a thin white coating and is black on the inside. it comes with a connector on one side so its different from the standard pipe. Much thinner wall. You'll know it when you see it. works great my truck has more power then ever but I've also done a whole bunch of other stuff to it in the last few weeks. Not sure how much that did for it. I have quite a bit more power then I did though. Sounds better to.

Okay, well I'll go to Home Depot and go buy what I need, and get that K&N air filter. Will definitely get back on if I need help.

Is the 3 inch PVC pipe suppose to fit into the air filter assembly, or is the coupling just there to join the PVC pipe and air filter assembly together?

Gotts mod 10-15 bucks. drop in K&N 40 or so. thats around 50 bucks.

get an E-fan around here at junk yards its 30 bucks any set up you pull. i have a lincon mark 8 24" E-fan. the 2000+ crown vics have the big fan as well.

or you can take the remaing 50 and do plugs and oil change.
