Last time I drove it, I think none of the gauges lit up, but I'll have the wife find out.

I'll also have her check the fuses. Which number is it for the fuse for the cluster?

2, 6, 18?

I think I'll just have her look at all of them and see which one is popped.

Also, when I get back from this deployment, should I get the vehicle fully serviced? How much should it run? Truck has I think 80-82k miles on it.

The wife took the truck out for a spin, she said the mileage, warning lights, blinkers light up. The gauges, bright lights indicator and HVAC lights don't

Just wondering, if I bought a new instrument panel for my truck, how would I get the odometer to read correct mileage?

Truck is at the dealership, $1330 for a new cluster, horn and cruise control.

I'd shop around but since my vehicle has been expired since January, I need it done ASAP.

But, good news is I have a few things for the truck and this thread will be updated soon.

Installed this the other day, been meaning to take photo's. It's the AppRadio by Pioneer, I find it pretty awesome.

Mic - it comes with a sticky mount as well, thinking about moving it up more on the steering column.

GPS - it's under the dash board, haven't been able to test it out since I only have a 3GS/

iPhone cord:

I like where the cord for the iPhone is, I can just drop it in the pocket to the left.

The only issue I have now is I need to install a switch to make the head unit think I have engaged the parking brake. I already bought a switch and I want to put it where the cigarette lighter is, what's the easiest way to take that out so I can experiment?

Nice, the appradio is what I'm wanting as well! I just got the avic-u310bt as a gift. As for the emergency brake wire - just tie it in with the stereo ground wire and it always thinks the emergency brake is engaged. That's how I have mine set up and it works great.
One question - since the appradio just uses the gps app from the phone, what exactly is that that you have mounted underneath the dash as a GPS unit?

The AppRadio uses this method for the parking brake:

1. Press parking brake
2. Release parking brake
3. Press parking brake again

Then it'll let you do whatever. So, I have a nice circle rocker switch that fits in the cigarette area.

As for the GPS app, the radio comes with a GPS antenna so give it more strength when driving. I'm assuming in the area's where the phone loses service.

dang, guess they're trying to make it more difficult to bypass the e-brake huh? But yeah a switch should work. As for taking the cig lighter out, that's probably the one part of the dash I haven't taken apart
What kind of switch is it?

Yeah I guess they are. But, easy fix from what I've been told. Ground wire and parking wire and just flip switch like asked.

I got it from AutoZone.

I'm going to take the dash part off so I can remove it and see what I'm working with.
