The guy still has the bumper, but I didn't want it. It has a few scratches on the front, but, I'm sure the painters can sand it our, reprimer and paint it for me. Should cost me $150-200 to paint. But, I haven't actually gave them my ideas with it. This is what I'm leaning towards.

I think my photoshop job was pretty good, ha.

Also, anyone want to take a guess at how much it was?

Close enough, $200. I figured it was a good deal since the hood online is $500+, and you'd still have to get it painted as well. The guy was also selling the Cobra R bumper for $200, but I decided I didn't want it, just incase it would be to low from the ground after I lowered the truck.

Thing is, the hood looks plastic, but the guy said it's new fiberglass that they are starting to use.

Yeah, neither am I. It looked very flimsy. Hopefully when it gets painted it'll look better than what it does now.

[QUOTE=Dinggus;3999652]I've never modified a vehicle and for some reason very into learning how to pimp my truck out. So, I found a few things I want to do to my truck and just looking for advice from the forum members here. This is what I have so far and just looking for some critics.

Projector Headlights Halo

Before

I like that lower valance. Where can I get one.

I have plans for the front grill and chrome piece of my bumper. Wouldnt mind something like that.

I'm assuming the valance is the bumper, and you want the lower part (where the fog lights are)? It came with the truck stock I believe.

All black, red middle? I'm digging the way it'll look with the black in the middle, wife thinks it'll look ugly.

Dang that seems high...I was only quoted $200 to paint my hood - I ended up getting the whole truck painted though. Shouldn't cost much at all, since there are no dings they have to fill or anything.

Alright, so I should just stick with my first quote? $150-$200?

I wouldn't think it should be $500, or even close. The $200 I was quoted was a little over a year and a half ago, so it could've gone up since then...and remember we're in completely different locations, so the labor cost will probably be different, but I wouldn't think it would be more than double the cost. I'd definitely check somewhere else. If one place is unusually cheap though, I'd request to see some of their work. The cheapest place isn't always the best (I'm sure you know this, just stating it lol).
