or you can be lazy like me and just mask off and spray:
when i painted it black this summer i didnt find what would seem to be the panel on the tailgate so i just masked it off and sprayed it black. problem becomes my bedliner was sprayed over it and all the bolts so that one may not happen for a while.

i already did the surround and it help up really well this weekend on the was to and from dallas. i may get it re done later but i was saying it took alot of paint since it seemed like thin coats.

problem is i have to contact toff dealer in houston to find out if they will respray the bed first.

derek and expedition i got the LOF off ebay, seller was performancetuners. im about to look into if the mounting tabs and wiring is the same on the fire and ice since my sister wants me to order her a LOF and swap it out.

just looked it up and the recon white lightning is 75 shipped so im gonna order that one and swap mine out for it since the adhesive pieces screw into the actual light bar.

So your not keeping the one you have on there now? Is it just brake light, or does it have reverse?

the one i got is the line of fire. its got parking lights, brake lights and turn signals. the only difference between the line of fire and the white lightning is that the white lightning has reverse also. and i didnt really want it at first but since my sister wants one i may get that one and give her mine. but i havent decided yet really, i dont really need reverse too.

I'm just thinking in terms of how bright those LEDs will be since we both have tint, and you have tinted tails.....

i just decided im gonna keep it since you bring up a good point. when i was deciding where to put my aux reverse lights it didnt help to have them straight out the back so.
