chip?

just wondering if anybody has used those 30 dollar chips off of ebay and if they work good, im looking for better mileage but dont want to spend 300+ for a programmer, so i want something cheap that will improve my gas mileage,

All those things are composed of is a simple 5-ohm resistor designed to block the MAF readings into the computer to trick it to dump more fuel into the engine. So in essence you will be running rich and wasting your fuel/money/time. If you want to go cheap on something, the engines computer is not a category you want to be playing with. If you fry it, they run about $600-$2000

There are other things you can do to help your mileage. Efans, under-drive pulleys, and I see you already have a intake. I would just go with efans. They are the best bang-for-your-buck next to an intake.

okay thanks, other wise i would be buying a tuner maybe someday, how would you say efans run for?
