well i ran by the shop today after work, and they made some good progress, it looks like the truck isnt going to be totaled, and they are going to put new outer skins on the bed and repair it.

Now im trying to see how exactly im gonna work out getting the tailgate shaved, and maybe a few other things

here's a few pics from today

Passenger frame rail and frame horn


they have the bed skins off and all the parts in stacked in the bed



Notice in the picture above the structural support that goes down from the corner of the bed is bent in alot from the bumper being pushed forward into it. They will be replacing that whole structural corner.

dang that place isnt messin around...

you have to put a whole one piece skin on the supercrew/stepside tailgates to make them smooth dont you?

anyway, GL and i hope this all goes well for you. and make sure they watch your rims!

nothing thats what were saying, he left them on when he put the truck in the body shop and we wouldnt want the shop to jack up the rims
