just wonder how many people out their have manuals transmissions?
What happened to the white 4.6?
I have a friend that is some what of a know it all, its funny because he bought his first ford (01 v6 4x4 manual) about a year ago and he thinks he knows EVERYTHING about them. He argues with me to death that the supercab 5.4's came with a manual transmission, I hunted high and low forever to find a 5.4 with a manual before i bought mine and finally settled for an automatic. Further research showed me that i wouldnt find one, and i have told him where to look it up but he refuses lol. I love manuals, i had a toyota tacoma with a 5 speed and i loved it, but i love ford trucks so i bought mine and gave my dad my toyota.
F-250s came with 5.4s and 6-speeds, the ZF S6-650. So it is entirely possible to take any 5.4 powered F-150/Expedition and convert it to a manual with the proper bits and pieces.
Expeditions never came with manual transmissions, so obviously I don't have one. Would be interesting to make a manual Expedition, though. If I went to that much trouble, it would certainly be a 5.4/ZF combo.
Aside from the Expedition, though, all my cars have been 5-speeds. The only 5-speed truck I've driven was a GMC C1500 with a 4.3 and the damn thing couldn't get out of its own way...

took me a while to find a SuperCab 4x4 v8 stick but it was definetly worth it. stick shift all the way.
