Yeah, 35x12.50's will fit at stock height using the OEM wheels, but they look a lot better with at least a body lift.

The difference between 285 and 315 has nothing to do with diameter. A larger first number means that the tire is going to be wider. 285/75/ r16's are more narrow than 315's. Changing the second number to a larger number would increase the diameter.

Sorry b2therad but thats not completely true. It is an aspect ratio, which means that if you increase either number both the width and height are going to change. The first number is in fact width but it is the second number that is the ratio.

Mannn, I need some Black rims lol.

Can you still get around 14 mpg with those tires Tyler? I get about 16 now on the e-way on cruise @ 76 mph.

What would I loose with those, just a couple miles per gallon maybe?

With a stock 5.4 engine, 3.55 gears and 35 inch tires I average 13 MPG combined city/highway.

right and wrong. the 2nd number is an aspect ratio of the first number. so if you have a 285/75R16 so the side wall is 75% of the 285. it will be shorter than a 315/75R16 which has a side wall of 75% of the 315
