Photo request, 97-03 w/ 35"

Here's the catch though, I want photos of those that are stuffing 35s with out any suspension or body lifts. AAL and Torsion crank pics are what I'm looking for.

Thanks a lot gents.

I was told if you wanted to fit 35s without no suspension lift you needed to have a 3 inch body lift with torsion keys

Word from Wandell is that 35/12.5s will fit with minor rubbing at steering lock with the stock wheels.

Someone is probably running that set up, but it is not too common at all on the 97-03's. I didn't even think it was possible without at least a body lift. If Wandell confirmed though, then I am sure it can be done. Although I really wouldn't recommend it.

Why not put at least a 3" body lift on your truck. It'll look good if you add gap guards. They are cheap, not too bad to install and you can wheel the hell out of your truck with it. I'd be affraid to do any off roading with just 35's and no lift, do to the rubbing factor.

If you want a link to see what a body lift install would be like, just let me know.

Im with JK007 you can pick up a BL pretty cheap, I got mine for $150 from someone on here and the gap guards were another $75 I got some gm tow hooks for cheap as well. And instaled everything my self, It doesnt even look like I have a BL on the truck. There are pics in my albums

I've got them cranked , also swapped the 2" block with a 3" / + 10" U-bolts, didn't need an AAL, - suspension is stiff enough as it is back their.

I could measure the tightest point on radius if that would help. ? To see how much room there is.

jbrew, what size are your tires? The more I think about it and look at my truck, It would be a cram job, and it would probs be a street queen. I want some function, so maybe some 33s or a BL. Might be in order, but I was just trying to see what it would look like.

Here is a warhammers truck I found looking (hope you don't mind!). He has 285/65R17s I think I read, how much bigger would 315s be?? In his sig it says he has the T-bars cranked to the max and a 3" AAL.

265's on the factory 17's, -they measure about 30.5". -

Yea, 33's would clear -

Here's the blocks I used. Like I said, I didn't need the AAL w/off road, tow package.

IMO, 33's would be as big as you want to go.

I'm running 325/60/18's i think that would be as much as you wanted to go, could probably squeeze a 34" tire with t-bars cranked but your options are limited
