Nice looking truck...Go Flareside! This looks like the start of a long and happy relationship...

Yes, the 1 3/4-inch rear blocks between the axle (on the spring perch) and the leaf springs are OEM stock on the FX4 editions. There is a 'Ford' oval logo stamped on top.

As for the toolbox-sizing experience, welcome.....that will be more common than you like for the Flaresiders. It seems that many aftermarket products do not come in that size, which has been a frustration point for me at times. On the other hand, the advantages are there -the step, no wheel wells in cargo area, etc. I love my flareside...

I always thought they came stock with Rancho shocks, but your truck isn't an FX4 is it?

Edit: Oh and sweet truck btw. I miss my 5sp F150 sometimes, sure was fun to drive.

im not sure to be quite honest, i added the 4x4 off road stickers, but im under the influence now that it may be one, because of what someone said in an earlier post, about the rear blocks being part of the fx4 package and i know they come with different wheels but i have 17in expedition wheels. so im really not sure. My shocks by the way say MAGNUM on them....replacements...i have no idea

And ya i like it but they suck in traffic, kinda want an auto somtimes

i wish i had the money for that, how does the supercharged motor perform off road?? thats the only question that really comes to mind when considering it

i live off of tower, near the cvs and walgreens. hit me up sometime if your headed this way

getting wheels and tires today. the wheels are Unique 297 (there a black wheel with silver center caps and silver lug nuts), in a 16x8 and the tires are BFG AT, in a 285/75/16

im excited for that. exhaust should come by the end of this week. flow master 42's with tips coming straight out the back, not the sides i dont like how that looks on the f-150, i think some silverados can pull it off though.

quick little update on the wheels and tires i just ordered. ended up getting 16x8 MB wheel 72 model in black with a polished lip, and i ended up going with the Nitto Terra Grappler tire. it was $275 cheaper than the BFG AT's

heres the wheel:

got my exhaust put on, it sounds bad!!! i love it. we just cut the muffler off, and welded a flowmaster 40 series onto it. no tips yet, my funds were insufficient due to wheels and tires.
will post video shortly
