yes....no.....maybe ????
LEDs in any turn signal (front or back, left or right) need a resistor or you can buy an LED flasher module to replace the one under the dash

Couldn't I just get a different flasher and not worry about the resistors?

In all honesty, I will put regular bulbs back in before I go through all the B/S of doing that to every light

But my problem is not a flasher... My front signals, and rear tails are regular bulbs... It is the reverse lights that are LED, along with the cargo lights & 3rd brake light (Factory L)

cyclone, you can buy a different flasher and just replace your stock one instead of the resistor route.

as for your problem, are you saying your CC isnt wokring? you have an L brakelight with LEDs in the cargo lamps?

That is a PITA... I have to get the ladder out, and a screw driver, and try not to scratch anything...

Actually, come to think about it. I need to take them out anyways because they are not working anymore And I noticed the other day the screws were rusted looking. So I need to change them out for some stainless ones.

Maybe that will be a tomorrow project when I get off work... Wish I woulda known this about 12 hours ago. I had today off and did not do a damn thing!

This applies to 05 and newer vehicles. Can't determine which you have since you have 03 in your profile and 09 in the sign. Fix that.

Ty, as you know, I have the "L" 3rd brake light with a set of 12- led bulbs from Superbriteleds.com and have had no issues with my CC.

I know, We have the same exact setup... Except mine does not have all kinds of crazy wiring from the city, maybe they fixed it accidentally for you, LOL...

I just know something isn't right somewhere.

I actually had the "L" set up quite awhile before the city idiots touched my truck LOL

Maybe your problem stems from when you wired your truck up wrong & caught it on fire
