truck goes click

My truck is dead.
I turn the key and get all gauges, lights, radio. But all i hear is a loud click in the engine.

Excuse my naivety, but what gives?

yeah you for sure know the battery is dead if the gauges do a full sweep to max speed and rpm when you turn the key on

Just out it on a charger for a few hours and you should be good to go. Check to make sure your battery saver relay hasn't gone out on you. (can't remember the exact relay number)

same thing happened to me, battery was full and everything. Problem was I needed a new starter. Something to look into if its not a dead battery

Pull the battery, take it to the parts store and get it charged and load tested. While it's out, clean the terminals. If it still won't start, check the starter and its cabling.
