Tranny Swap
I know a 4R100 will bolt into place to replace my blown 4R70W in a 2001 4x4. My question is how about the electronics. They snap in place? If so do I need a chip?

connectors are different i think. i remember reading about it in Klitch's thread and he wanted to swap in a 4R100 but it would need custom work.

My appologies boys. Didn't think peopled get angry. I'm just looking for as much input and opinons as possible. I'm in this trade for life, and I wanna learn FORD's!
