Low Fuel Light Indicator not Coming on

I have a 2003 F150 with a 4.6 and my low fuel light isn't coming on. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this?

a.) u dont have one
b.) u havent let it go low enough to signal low fuel
c.) tell us more about the truck,tank size, anything that seems relavent

a) bad ground
b) busted fuel indicator sensor
c) poor electrical connection
d) (although unlikley) blown low fuel indicator bulb

Mine comes on when the gauge is just a hair above E, and when it does, there's only 3 gallons left.
