You have a 2wd, correct? If so, you shouldn't have torsion bars.

 

I figured that would be the answer. Hoped it wasn't.
Also when I put the body lift on will the exhaust pipe hang down like really low or what?

 

And also, if I just put on a leveling kit how big tires can I fit? Or is that not for 2wd's either?.... 2wd's suck!

 

You can install a leveling kit on your 2wd, it will be fine. I will again state my original post. you can't go wrong with some 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 (depending on wheel diameter) BF Goodrich AT's.

Anything larger is going to be too stuffed, especially if you plan on hauling anything heavy from time to time.

You can't go taller than 2 or 2.5 inches with lift springs or coilspring spacers without getting new upper control arms. I'd combine these with a body lift and run 33's. Also, with a body lift your tailpipe will hang down 3 inches. It doesn't look bad and can easily be raised if you wish.

 

i would go with what wandell said

you could have an exhaust shop do your exhaust after a body lift so that there wont be a gap or you can just dump it so there is no pipes to worry about

 

I got the same truck as you, i currently got it ripped apart putting on a 3" bodylift, getting 1.5" leveling kit friday and some 325/60/18 nittos which equals about 33x13.00 on 18x9.5s sometime next week. I'll be sure to post up some pics

 

ya post some pics up when its done. i wanna see what a 33" looks like on a 2wd with just a body lift instead of a spindle lift

 

I have a 3.5 inch lift on my 02 and I have 315/75R16s They clear really good and they look great.
